🏐 Mixed Volleyball Session | Intermediate & Recreational Level

Hi everyone 🏐
Join us for our Monday mixed volleyball session with Smashing Expats Rotterdam, played at a net height of 2.35 m.
The session combines training and games, with exercises focused on team play, positioning, communication and game situations before moving into volleyball games.
Both men and women are welcome to participate.
The session is intended for intermediate and recreational players with previous volleyball experience. You should already understand the basic rules, positions and techniques of volleyball.
You do not need to be a member of a competition team to participate. Single-entry participation is available.

🏐 Mixed volleyball and team opportunities

For the 2026/2027 season, Smashing Expats has two mixed competition teams:
🏐 XR1, competing in the Poule A Mixed Competition
🏐 XR2, competing in the Poule A Mixed Competition
Our Monday mixed sessions are open to players who want to enjoy volleyball, improve their skills and meet other players without immediately committing to a competition team.
We are also interested in meeting experienced players who may want to join one of our mixed teams.
We are particularly looking for female players interested in the following positions:

Middle Blocker (MB)
Setter
Opposite

Players interested in joining XR1 or XR2 are welcome to introduce themselves during the session so we can get to know each other on court.

🧬 Smashing Expats DNA

Smashing Expats is more than a place to play volleyball. We combine good volleyball, player development and an international community.
🏐 Community first
We are one club, not a collection of separate teams.
📈 Train and grow together
Players from different teams and levels train together and learn from each other.
🏆 Competitive without an elite mentality
We value good volleyball, ambition and improvement, but playing level is not treated as a status symbol.
🤝 Different ways to participate
Some players join individual sessions, others train regularly, participate in tournaments or join one of our NEVOBO competition teams.
🌍 International community
We welcome expats, international students, interns, visitors, local residents and volleyball enthusiasts from different backgrounds.
