Volunteer at the Good Neighbors Pantry!
Join us for this hands-on volunteer opportunity to help make our community food pantry a welcoming and supportive space for local families in need. Volunteer tasks include:

Helping set up the pantry
Greeting guests as they arrive & helping coordinate pantry flow
Assisting guests with food selection and carrying items if needed
Restocking inventory during the pantry (maybe light lifting of boxes)
Breaking down and cleaning up after the event

No prior experience is necessary, just a friendly attitude and willingness to help. Come be part of a team that brings food, care, and community to those who need it most.

We'll reach out to you with day-of details the week before service. We are happy to answer any questions. Please contact us at [email protected] for a speedy response.

Not sure what to wear?

Comfortable clothes you don’t mind moving around in
Shoes appropriate for standing ~3 hours (closed-toe recommended)

We’re excited to see you there and for your help in serving our community!

Other Ways to Support the Pantry
To meet our goal of feeding as many families that come to our door each distribution, we're always looking for help through food and monetary donations.

Monetary Donations:

For monetary donations, please use the Pledge link in Meetup. Any funds donated for the pantry will be processed through St. Chrysostem's Church and subsequently distributed to the pantry.
If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please contact us at [[email protected]] and we'll follow up with next steps!

Food Donations
Shelf-Stable & Non-Perishables
You can donate non-perishable items from our Amazon Wish List or donate shelf-stable foods on a rolling basis leading up to the pantry.
A list of helpful items can be found on this link; here are some examples:

Canned soups, beans, vegetables, and fruit
Pasta, rice, boxed meals
Peanut butter, shelf-stable milk, cereals
Cooking oils

Perishable Items
Perishables (fresh produce, dairy, eggs, etc.) can be donated within the week before the pantry, depending on remaining shelf life. Please reach out before dropping these items off so that we can coordinate proper storage.

We look forward to a successful pantry day. Thank you for contributing to this community-wide effort!
