So much of our lives is about speaking. We learn to present, to persuade, to say the right thing at the right moment. But how often do we get to slow down and simply listen?

This week, we're creating a gentle space to do just that.
We often think listening begins when someone else starts talking. But maybe it begins much earlier. Maybe it begins with listening to ourselves.

Think about the moments before you speak. Something stirs inside you. A feeling rises. You search for the right words. You notice your thoughts softly shaping themselves into a story. Then you choose what to share.

Listening stays with us while we speak, too. We feel our own reactions as the words leave us. We notice the other person's face, their pause, their smile. We sense whether to keep going or gently change direction.

And we might wonder:
What do I truly want to share?
What do I hope the other person feels?
How would I know if my words reached them the way I meant?

Some of the most beautiful conversations aren't about delivering a finished message at all. They're about co-creating something together. We share thoughts that are still taking shape, through words, a glance, a gesture. We receive what the other person offers. And we notice ourselves changing, little by little, because of what we heard.

All of this is listening.
And when someone truly listens to us, we receive emotional support, validation, and feel connected. Listening is a gift we can give and receive. Sometimes all we need is to be heard.

Come as you are. Bring your curiosity, your stories, and your open heart. Let's explore together what it means to truly listen to ourselves, to each other, and to the connection we create.

We think of our host restaurant as our extended family, so please order food or a drink to support them. If you'd rather not order, a tip at the bar is appreciated.
