AI video demos look effortless. Finished work isn’t. A thirty-second spot still needs a plan, a product that looks like itself in every frame, sound, and an edit, and the tools change every month.

This is a demo and discussion session on how AI video actually gets made, from the first prompt to the final export. We’ll generate on screen, walk through the workflows behind finished pieces, and talk about what’s worth using today. Bring the tools you already use and the shot you can’t get to work.

We’ll explore:

The state of AI video. What’s production-ready, what’s still a party trick, and what has changed since the last time you looked.
Generation workflows. Text-to-video, image-to-video and reference-driven approaches, and when each one earns its place.
Marketing video, start to finish. Concept, script, shots, product accuracy and brand consistency, turned around in an afternoon.
The production process. Briefs, shot lists, coverage and continuity, and how to keep characters and products consistent across shots.
Tools and techniques. Models, editors and upscalers, plus prompting for motion, camera and pacing rather than stills.
Cost and speed. What a finished minute really costs in time and money, and when running models locally makes sense.
Finishing. Dialogue, sound, colour and the edit, which quietly do most of the heavy lifting.
Rights and disclosure. Commercial licensing, client work and sensible defaults.
Knowing when to stop. Where AI footage falls apart, and when it’s better to shoot it for real.

No prior background assumed. If you make video, market a product, commission it for a team, or just want to know what’s possible now, this is for you.
Afterwards we usually continue over dinner nearby, a good chance to connect with fellow builders and practitioners.
