Volunteer at United Way's Fall Day of Caring

Join the United Way for Greater Austin for the annual tradition of gathering with neighbors in community service at Fall Day of Caring. There are a variety of projects to work on... One that needs help is Outdoor Beautification at the Wholesome Generation school. Wholesome Generation is a private, non-profit alternative education school that creates exceptional, nurturing experiences for children, their families, and our community. WG connects students to the greater world around them – through the classroom and curriculum, through community and service programs, through international cultures + languages representing our community, and through hands-on learning both in the classroom and in nature. Tasks typically include weeding flower beds, distributing mulch, picking up trash along the creek, and cleaning out the horse barn.
