Local Walk: Beaudesert & The India Hills

A new adventure inside and outside Cannock Chase, peaceful and remote alongside nature.

Logistics:
Meet: 10:15 check-in, to start within 5-10 minutes, or earlier if those visible are ready.
Distance: 8 to 9 miles, depending on choices on the day
Start Point: Lower car park, Stile Cop Road, Cannock Chase, WS15 1QR
Parking: As above, or there is a lay-by next to Stile
Note: This is not the pot-holed upper car park we have used before. However we do pass Stile Cop upper car park after 15 mins or so.
Terrain: Forest in abundance, Pools, Meadows, some undulation

Refreshments: Picnic stop and also a pleasant pub stop just over half distance.
Bring: Waterproofs & Refreshments & Good walking footwear, and clothing to match the weather.

Safety:
As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety. You must be comfortable walking the specified distance in order to attend please.

RSVP Commitment:
Places are not unlimited, so withdrawing in the last 24 hours is not allowed. Attendances shouldn't be compromised by ghosting (no-shows, late withdrawals, and uncommitted waitlisting).
