Museum Night Fever transforms Brussels into one big cultural playground. On Saturday 17 October, 28 museums will take part, with more than 100 activities across the city. Museums are open from 19:00 until 01:00, with performances, exhibitions, dance, live music, workshops, installations and other special programming.

Rather than trying to see everything, The Mixer will turn the evening into a shared social experience. We'll meet as a group, get acquainted, then explore a selection of museums and experiences together.

The emphasis isn't on ticking museums off a list. It's about experiencing Brussels differently and meeting people along the way - particularly welcoming if you're joining on your own. People increasingly use Meetup specifically to find friends and social connection, not simply activities, which is exactly the spirit behind this evening.

The official programme includes venues ranging from Bozar, Train World and the Musical Instruments Museum to Brussels City Hall, the Sewer Museum, BELvue, Autoworld, the House of European History and the Comic Art Museum.

Meeting Point:
We will gather right outside the entrance of the Musical Instruments Museum (MIM) at 7:15 PM so we can head in together for a 7:30 PM start. Look for the group organizer!

​The Vibe: Art Nouveau elegance meets sound mechanics and music history.
​What We'll See: Over 8,000 instruments, live electro-acoustic demonstrations, and early prototypes of the saxophone, which was invented right here in Belgium by Adolphe Sax.
​9:00 PM – 10:00 PM | Underground Palace of Coudenberg
​The Vibe: Dark, subterranean passages beneath the city streets paired with live, high-energy performances.
​What We'll See: The hidden 16th-century ruins of Charles V’s former palace—destroyed by fire in 1731 and buried for centuries—filled with light projections and live acoustic acts.
​10:15 PM – 11:15 PM | GardeRobe MannekenPis
​The Vibe: Quirky pop culture and local humor near the Grand Place.
​What We'll See: The official wardrobe of Brussels' legendary statue, showcasing over 1,000 fun and creative outfits ranging from rockstar costumes to historic royal attire to wrap up the night right around 11:15 PM!

Exact Sunday Vacations meeting point and our suggested museum route will be shared with registered participants before the event.

💶 Price / contribution

Sunday Vacations community participation: Free

Participants purchase their Museum Night Fever ticket directly from the official event organiser.

Official advance ticket prices for 28 September–16 October are:

Standard ticket: €18 — museums + shuttle buses + Noctis
Combi ticket: €29 — standard access + C12 or Botanique afterparty

On 17 October, the respective prices rise to €22 and €33. Discount schemes are also available for eligible participants.

Ujamaa ASBL does not sell or resell the Museum Night Fever admission ticket.

Museum Night Fever itself is organised by Brussels Museums and participating cultural institutions, not by Sunday Vacations / UJAMAA ASBL. Sunday Vacations' role is to facilitate the community meetup and shared social experience around the event.

The official programme, participating museums, admission conditions, transport arrangements and schedules may be changed by the event organiser. Always check the official information before attending.

Because museums can become busy, our route may also change during the evening depending on queues, timing and group preferences.
