About the book: Emilia del Valle was always destined for great things. She will do whatever it takes to pursue her life’s passion for writing, even if it means publishing under a man’s name. When Emilia lands a position as a journalist for the Daily Examiner, her unwavering sense of adventure leads her to seize the chance to cover a brewing civil war in Chile alongside another talented reporter. But the assignment offers Emilia more than just an opportunity to prove herself as a writer. We decided to have everyone bring a cat or dog themed item to exchange (or both if you want) since its the season to be Thankful and a lot of us are pet owners and are so thankful for our fur kids!

We will also start posting people’s “Getting to know you” form when it’s their birthday month.

But as always- you do not have to participate in any of the extra activities if you don’t want to or aren’t able, we would just love to have you as part of the book club.
