Since the 2026 Game Awards are held all the way out in California, our friends at SSG have decided to host a streamed screening at Kinowerks for a big screen viewing experience.

About The Game Awards:
Running since 2014, The Game Awards a large-scale annual awards show produced & hosted by Geoff Keighley at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
Hundreds of games are screened for nominations & voted as best of a particular category, with premieres for upcoming games & title announcerments always expected to drop.

About Second City Gaming:
​SCG is a nonprofit org focused on creating a gamer network in Chicago that can make positive impacts for the wider community.
They hold several monthly events centered around making connections with folks that share a love of video games.
You can take a look at their projects on their website, which includes funding & support for high schools, hospitals, & relief efforts.

About Kinowerks:
Kinowerks is a massive, multi-million dollar private film production & post-production facility founded in 2007 by the Wachowski siblings (directors of The Matrix).
In 2018, the facility transitioned from a private editing suite into a creative rental studio that retains its state-of-the-art film infrastructure.
