"I've even been to Selsey Bill"

Last train to Chichester for a while; we tend to cycle closer to home after the clocks go back. Meet at 10.10 north side of the station (Shoreham train gets in at 10.03). 36m but pan flat. Coffee at Boat House Chichester Marina then along Salturns Way to Selsey Bill via the Witterings. Lunch at the Lifeboat Inn Selsey; no need to book. Return back through Medmerry and retrace some of the Salturns Way back into Chichester along the canal path.

It's track for much of the route, ie hard but a bit stoney. It's suitable for road bikes (we've done most if it before), but a wider-tyred bike may be more comfortable if you have one.

Please ensure that your bike is roadworthy and you have sufficient equipment to make at least puncture repairs. All participants are ultimately responsible for their own safety and getting home if bike cannot be repaired roadside. The first aid provisions are no different from if you were riding on your own or informally with friends.
