Eddie's cafe: https://www.instagram.com/eddiesnewy/?hl=en
We arrive at the cafe at approximately 7:20am. Grab a coffee, or breaky. Or you can bring your own food and sit on the grassy hill. We have about an hour at the cafe before we'll head back.
We cycle at a very easy beginner-friendly leisurely pace of 15km/hr. We stick together, following safe cycling principles for everyday city cycling.
This route is 80% shared paths. The rest is quiet streets, plus one busier road (Clyde St, Hamilton North).
The route is flat, except for the 500 metre steep hill climb at the end up to the top of King Edward Park. Cycle up the hill or walk up the hill - as long as you enjoy the views along the way.
