If you are driving Maynooth Train Station has a Car Park, I would advise waiting for us at the Main Entarance of the Station.

When we meet everyone at Maynooth Train Station, we will start walking to Carton House Demense, we will be walking through Maynooth Town Centre or we can walk along the Royal Canal Greenway. (2.4 Kilometres, 32 Minutes).

Carton House is an ancestral house to many Former Dukes of Leinster, Carton House was home of Fitzgerald Family, Dukes & Earls of Leinster for almost 800 years, in 1923 the IRA (Irish Republican Army) had intentions of burning Carton House down, Carton House is now a Hotel.

We will be walking around; Tyreconnell Tower built by Richard Talbot, who was the First Earl of Tyreconnell and Shell Cottage.

The Irish National Rugby & Football Team Train there also & Golf events happen there also.
