Summary In this walk we will be passing through swathes of countryside and picturesque villages, taking in lovely views of the parish area known as the ‘Mordens’. Our lunch stop will be in Abbington Piggots village green. The village has a SPAR convenience store and coffee shop for those who need provisions. Passing through county lanes and woodland verges,, we will make a pub stop at the Waggon and Horses in Steeple Morden. Village is known for its church St Peter and Paul, that been rebuilt numerous times due to fires and other miscreants over the ages with an iconic looking Steeple that’s been erected hence the name. En route we might hopefully see a Manx Loaghtan. (Worth a Google!)
