🏔️ BIG MOUNTAIN ADVENTURES DENVER: COPPER WORLD CUP, SKI DAY & APRÈS!

📅 Saturday, November 28, 2026
⏰ 9:00 AM – Evening
📍 Copper Mountain, Colorado

Let's kick off ski season with a full day of mountain adventures, World Cup racing, early-season turns, and good company!

Copper Mountain is hosting the Stifel Copper Cup, featuring Men's Super-G racing, live music, and evening festivities. Whether you're coming to ski or snowboard, watch the races, explore the festivities, or simply enjoy a day in the mountains, there's something for everyone.
Come for the whole day or join us for whichever part of the adventure works for you!

🏂 THE DAY'S PLAN

9:00 AM – Start the Day on the Mountain
For those ready to get some early-season turns in, we'll have the opportunity to ski or snowboard before and around the day's events.
Keep in mind that early-season terrain and lift availability depend on snow conditions, so check Copper Mountain's current mountain report before heading out.

11:15 AM – OFFICIAL GROUP MEETUP & PHOTO
📍 Outside JJ's Rocky Mountain Tavern – Copper Station, East Village
This will be our main daytime gathering point!
JJ's Rocky Mountain Tavern is located inside Copper Station in East Village, at the base of the Super Bee chairlift.

How to find us:

Head to East Village and look for the Copper Station building.
Meet us outside the entrance to JJ's Rocky Mountain Tavern.
We'll gather outside, introduce ourselves, and get everyone together before heading over to Vendor Village.
We'll take a group photo and then make our way toward the race festivities.

You do not need to go inside JJ's or purchase anything to join us. It's simply an easy landmark to help everyone find the group.

Coming by shuttle? The Black Route from the Alpine parking lot and the Purple Route from the Far East parking lot both serve East Village, with drop-off and pickup in front of Copper Station.

If you're running late, don't worry! You can connect with us at Vendor Village or head toward the race area.

11:45 AM – MEN'S SUPER-G
Time to catch some World Cup action!
We'll head over to the race area to watch the Men's Super-G. Whether you're a big ski racing fan or just want to experience the excitement, this is a great opportunity to take in the atmosphere and cheer on the athletes.

AFTERNOON – EXPLORE, SKI & ENJOY
The afternoon is flexible!
Depending on conditions and everyone's interests, you can:

Watch more of the racing and explore Vendor Village.
Grab lunch or a drink with the group.
Get some more ski or snowboard laps in.
Enjoy the mountain atmosphere and festivities.

Feel free to come and go throughout the day. No pressure to stick together every minute!

🎶 EVENING APRÈS & ENTERTAINMENT

5:30 PM – EVENING GROUP MEETUP
📍 Near the Sawmill Pizza & Taphouse sign – Center Village

We'll have a second official gathering point for anyone joining us later in the day or reconnecting for the evening festivities.

Look for the Sawmill Pizza & Taphouse sign in Center Village, directly across from the American Eagle lift.

We'll regroup here before heading over to the Center Village Stage for the evening entertainment.

If you arrive after the meetup, you can head directly to the stage area and connect with the group there.

EVENING EVENT SCHEDULE

5:45 PM: Super-G Awards
6:00 PM: Giant Slalom Bib Draw
