🌸 Jacaranda Season Photography Walk – UQ St Lucia 🌸

📅 Date: Sunday, 18 October 2026
🕣 Time: 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM
💵 Donation: $2.50 pp
📍 Meeting Point: The University of Queensland (UQ), St Lucia Campus (TBA)

Spring is one of the most magical times to photograph Brisbane, and the stunning jacaranda trees at UQ St Lucia provide the perfect backdrop for a relaxed morning of photography.

We’ll begin by joining the UQ Blue Meet at 8:30 AM, where you’ll have the opportunity to photograph the beautiful blue jacarandas in bloom. Afterward, we’ll continue with a leisurely photo walk (and short drives between selected locations if required) around the UQ campus, capturing the vibrant spring colours, heritage sandstone buildings, tree-lined pathways, reflections, and everyday campus life.

This session is suitable for photographers of all experience levels. Whether you shoot with a DSLR, mirrorless camera, compact camera, or smartphone, everyone is welcome.
