For our first circle we take The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins. You don't have to finish the book. Read all of it, some of it or none. I will open with the key ideas, and then we talk about our own lives.

About the book

The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins is built on one idea in two steps.

1. "Let them": stop spending your energy on what other people think, say or do. Their opinions, moods and choices are not yours to control.
2. "Let me": put that energy into the one thing that is yours, which is what you do next.

Robbins applies this to the situations most of us know: worrying about other people's opinions, comparing ourselves to others, friendships that change, family that won't, and relationships where we keep trying to fix someone.

It is an easy read and works well as an audiobook, narrated by the author.

You don't need to finish it to join the conversation.

What we will do
- Key ideas discussion
- A facilitated conversation: where "let them" works for you and where it doesn't
- A short group coaching exercise
- One small step you choose to try before the next circle
