Capital Oyster Society: Inaugural Oyster Social & Tasting

Our very first Capital Oyster Society Social is happening! 📅 Wednesday, September 30 ⏰ 6:00 PM 📍 Kelly’s Oyster House & Bar | Fairfax\, VA 🎟️ FREE to attend | Optional $26 Guided Oyster Tasting We’ll kick off the evening with drinks, introductions and a little Oyster Bingo to get everyone mingling before turning things over to Kelly’s for a special guided tasting created just for Capital Oyster Society. 🦪 THE OPTIONAL GUIDED TASTING Kelly’s is taking us on an 8-oyster journey from the Chesapeake up the Atlantic Coast to Canada, including oysters from the Chesapeake, Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island and Canada — finishing with an Oyster Gratinée with candied bacon, spinach and hollandaise. The $26 tasting ticket is all-inclusive and covers the complete guided tasting, applicable taxes, 20% gratuity and ticketing/processing costs. 🥂 DON’T WANT TO DO THE TASTING? COME ANYWAY! The social itself is completely FREE. Grab a free RSVP, come meet fellow oyster lovers, and order whatever oysters, food and drinks you’d like directly from Kelly’s. After the tasting, the social continues — so stick around, order another round and get to know the Society. 🎟️ Space is limited to 50 guests, so registration is required. If you purchase the guided tasting, that ticket also serves as your RSVP — you do not need a separate free ticket.
