The Embodiment and Movement Weekend opens with a party. Join us Friday night at Common Street Spiritual Center for two back-to-back experiences that invite you to slow down, drop into your body, and move.
7:00 PM: Reiki Dance and Soundbath
With Daniel Montoya, Emily Sclar, Simon Davis, Alice Belle, and Grace Elin. A restorative two-hour experience combining Reiki, somatic movement, meditation, live music, intentional dance, and sound healing. There is no choreography and nothing to perform. Move when your body wants to move, and rest when it wants to rest. No Reiki or dance experience is required.
9:00 PM: Ecstatic Dance
A live DJ set by Smalankas, blending uplifting melodies and heavy basslines into a journey that invites you to drop in, let go, and feel something deep.
Cost and registration
Friday evening is $20 to $30, sliding scale. A full weekend pass is $70 to $85. No one is turned away for lack of funds, and you can volunteer for three hours in exchange for a free ticket. Please register through Collective Effervescence: https://www.collectiveffervescenceboston.com/touch-movement
