Firle Alfriston circular - 10 miles

A circular 10 mile walk starting from Firle Village car park. We will walk through the grounds of Firle Place and Charleston Farmhouse, continuing along the base of the Downs, arriving at Alfriston for a picnic lunch stop. There are a number of options for buying food and drink in Alfriston. One steep climb up to the South Downs Way after lunch. We return to Firle along the SDW. The descent back to Firle may be slippery, so please bring poles if you need them.
