Let's explore edible + medicinal mushrooms in Bristol! [LOCATION TBC. Likely spots are: Leigh Wood, Stoke Park or Oldbury Court, we will confirm this ASAP, hopefully by start of October] We're going to be led by the wonderful Ruby who's an incredible artist and forager, with plenty of space for others to contribute, as always. Expect to touch and smell some of these mushrooms, learn about their properties and how to use them in cooking. We'll also learn about lots of other wild plants we see on the way. Open to all, as always, whatever your experience of foraging so far, this is a collective space for people who want to meet for walking together, making new friends, sharing thoughts and learning new things. What to bring: - everything you'd need for a comfortable time outside like water\, a notepad\, comfy clothes and sturdy shoes - notepad if youd like to take notes or draw. or a jar if you'd like to take home any nettle seeds or other plants we find Travel + Accessibility will be updated then but, as always, let us know if you'd like any additional adjustments, or want to get in touch ahead of the session [[email protected]] Safety and community care: to keep everyone safe, please do not attend if you are actively infectious with a cold, cough or other illness.
