Long Pose Figure - Jennifer Jones ($20 event fee)

Tonight’s model: Jennifer Jones Format: Long Pose Costume Join us for an evening of figure drawing and painting in Santa Clara. This session will feature a Costumed/Dressed model holding one long pose, with regular breaks throughout the evening. A long pose gives artists plenty of time to develop a more complete drawing or painting. Artists of all experience levels and working in any medium are welcome. The model will hold the same pose throughout the session, with a five-minute break after each 20-minute posing period. If you haven’t attended a life-drawing session before, it’s exactly what it sounds like: a model will pose while we do our best to capture their likeness using our preferred mediums, such as paint, pastels, charcoal, or pencil. This is an uninstructed session, not a class or workshop. The event fee covers the model and rental of the space. What to Bring The venue provides chairs, tables, drawing horses, tabletop easels, and H-frame easels on a first-come, first-served basis. Please bring any other art supplies you need and take everything with you when you leave. Oil painters may use odorless mineral spirits only. Please do not bring turpentine.
