Come out of this class able to: — Walk toward the thing you've been avoiding, not away from it — Turn "what if I fail" into "let's dig into dirt and find out" — Ask for the promotion, send the message, take the leap, talk to that beautiful stranger — Feel lighter about the mistakes you've already made — Leave with a fear you can actually name, hold, and work with — instead of one that quietly runs your decisions Failure is beautiful skill — rich with emotional power and lessons. If you love to win, you have to learn to love to lose. Instead, most of us reject the process like poison, because all we see are beautiful results, success and achievement. Worse than that, we're trapped like rats in comparison and "I am not enough" nonsense. But failure can be humbling, eye-opening, fun, and new — it breaks the shell of the ego. It's a "you know nothing, Jon Snow" moment. Freeing you from the shackles of logic. I invite you into this frightening, exciting, playful liminal space, where you learn to honour and look long enough to see the gift within your failure. Afraid to change jobs? Compliment that stranger on the street? Take a different road home? Ask for a promotion? Finally start learning French, since you're in Montréal? Or just let go of the past and get curious about your life again? This workshop is about loosening the grip fear of failure has on you — through play, not lecture. Through playfulness, imagination, and scene work together, we'll turn frozenness into possibility. No acting experience needed. Just show up.
