Coffee, Pups & New Friends

Hey loves! Join us for Coffee, Pups & New Friends around Lake Merritt.
Dogs are the easiest icebreakers in the world, so we're making them the theme. Bring your pup (or borrow the excuse to meet everyone else's) and leave with a new friend. No dog? No problem, you're completely welcome.
We meet at 10 AM at Motivat Coffee Roasters (formerly Slojoy), 1528 Webster St, near 19th St Oakland BART. Grab a coffee, then we walk the flat 3.4-mile loop around the lake together at an easy pace. Plan for about 2.5 hours, and anyone who wants to keep hanging out can join an optional brunch at Grand Lake Kitchen after.
Dogs stay leashed, and bring water for both of you. Wear layers and come as you are.
Getting there:
Taking BART: Exit at 19th St. Oakland BART (dogs in carriers). Motivat Coffee Roasters (1528 Webster St, formerly Slojoy) is 2 blocks away.
Driving and parking: Street meters on Webster and Harrison St are FREE on Sundays until 12:00 PM! Just snap a photo of your meter's ParkMobile zone number when you park at 10:00 AM so you can add time from your phone at noon ($3/hr) while we're out on the lake. For all-day lot parking, 1520 Harrison St is one block over. As always in Oakland, please leave zero bags or visible items in your car.

See you and your furry plus-ones out there!
