🌞Griffith Park to Cedar Grove🌞

CHANGE OF PLANS BECAUSE OF THE BRYSON FIRE NEAR SANDSTONE PEAK.
We usually have a 15 minute grace period but please try to arrive a little early. We're opting to do an afternoon loop hike from Parking lot 2 in Griffith Park to the lovely shaded Cedar Grove. We'll start off on the Lower Beacon trail to the Coolidge trail then take a moderately steep single track up to the beautiful Cedar Grove where we will have some snacks and take a group photo. From there we will go up to the "Vista View Point" overlooking the Observatory. Then we make our way back via the "Spooky Trail", the Fern Canyon Trail and one more ascent and descent over the Upper Old Zoo trail leading back to our cars in Parking Lot 2.
