We are going indoors at the
Brookhaven City Center
to avoid tropical storm Isaias! We are going to meetup inside the center at the Summit Coffee.
Still hope to see folks who would like to come out and participate in the fun and gets some steps in supporting a good cause.

We walk in solidarity with communities who face higher mental health risks because of stigma, discrimination, and barriers to care — including LGBTQ+ individuals, who experience higher rates of mental health diagnoses and struggles. NAMI Georgia’s programs help create safer, more supportive spaces where people can find connection, understanding, and hope.

Registration for NAMIWalks is free. If you choose to raise or donate funds, all of the money for our team will directly support NAMI Georgia’s work across the state — including free support groups, classes, and trainings for families and friends, students, teachers, healthcare and safety workers, and individuals living with mental health conditions. Your participation also strengthens statewide advocacy and education for policymakers, expanding access to mental health care and services for all Georgians.

Help us bring the spirit of our hiking group to a statewide movement for hope, connection, and better mental health care.

The hike is only about 1-mile, in doors at Brookhaven City Center. You can also choose to loop again for 2. The Summit coffee is inside the building. Meet up between 9-9:30am, Warmup kicks off at 9:30 and the walk begins at 10:30am.
