～ Walking an Ancient Edo-Period Pilgrimage Trail — Tsujigatani Hiking Course ～

Would you like to walk an old path that once connected Osaka and Nara? 🌿

This course follows the historic trails known as "Tsujigatani-goe" and "Washio-goe," ancient pilgrimage routes used since the Edo period to reach the sacred Mt. Ikoma.

We'll hike from Kintetsu Shin-Ishikiri Station along the old stone-paved path, passing through bamboo groves and chestnut forests, enjoying seasonal autumn leaves 🍂, and taking in sweeping panoramic views of Osaka and Nara from the mountain ridge.

After the hike, we'll have a relaxed social gathering. Let's enjoy nature and conversation across languages and cultures! 🌍

📋 Notes

・The trail is a classic stone-paved mountain path – sturdy footwear is recommended

・The hike is approximately 4–5 hours total

・We'll stay as a group throughout; beginners are very welcome!

・We may stop at a café or restaurant after the hike

・Please note: this hike involves a long ascent and may be physically demanding. We kindly ask those who are not confident in their physical fitness to reconsider attending.

大阪と奈良をつないだ古道を歩いてみませんか？🌿

このコースは、江戸時代から生駒山への参詣道として使われてきた「辻子谷越え」「鷲尾越え」と呼ばれる歴史ある道をたどります。近鉄・新石切駅をスタートし、石畳の古道を歩きながら竹林や栗林を抜け、秋の紅葉🍂を楽しみつつ、山頂稜線からは大阪・奈良の絶景パノラマが広がります。

ハイキング後は、ゆったりとした交流タイムも。言語や文化を超えて、自然の中でたっぷり語り合いましょう！🌍
