Hey new and familiar Quietly Queer folx! Join us for a Sunday trail walk!
This time, we're heading to Nimitz Way in Tilden Regional Park, one of the East Bay's beautiful ridge trails. The trail is paved and generally considered accessible, with relatively gentle grades and expansive views of the Bay Area and surrounding hills. If you have specific mobility needs or accessibility questions, feel free to reach out beforehand so we can help you determine whether the route is a good fit.
Be sure to dress warmly! It's a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors without having to commit to a strenuous hike. We'll take our time, enjoy the scenery, and get some fresh air together!
As always, this is a come-as-you-are gathering. There's no pressure to keep up with anyone, no forced introductions, and no expectation to be "on" socially. Whether you're coming to meet new people, catch up with familiar faces, enjoy the outdoors, or simply get out of the house for a bit, you're welcome here!
🗓 Date & Time: Saturday, November 14, 11AM
📍 Location: Meet at Inspiration Point
💡 Vibe: Relaxed, friendly, outdoorsy, and community-focused. All ages are welcome.
👟 A few things to bring: Comfortable walking shoes, water, and a light jacket or extra layer. The ridge can get breezy, so it's worth being prepared!
We'll walk at a comfortable pace and can decide as a group how far we'd like to go before turning back. No need to commit to a long hike!
I'll be wearing my usual Pride neckerchief, so I'll be easy to spot. Feel free to DM me or post on the discussion board if you have trouble finding us. See you there!
