What are the hidden costs of AI’s rapid growth?
James Young, who has a background in energy infrastructure, will be speaking about how our country’s energy market, and our climate, is negatively affected by AI data center development. He will discuss the history of data centers, the speculative rush to cash in on their development, and the solutions which would allow for technological progress while being responsible to our climate.
