Yardley Ducky Walk

Finally cooler weather! Let's take a walk through Yardley and check out five of the six Yardley Art Ducks along this approximately 2.3 mile walk. One duck is eliminated to keep the walk within this distance range. I will show all where it is to see it on your own if you are interested, as they did finally build a sidewalk down to it, that ends where it is located. I have actually added them all first as points, then as photos on google maps, as user, Ambling InfraRed. So both are there now. Laugh, this duck IS NOT on Street View in Google maps yet.

This walk will start in Buttonwood Park, enter to it, from the driveway off S Main Street, right after Afton, photo below. It has a Yardley painted sign on the wall right at its entrance driveway. Take that entrance driveway to the rear where parking should be available. The meeting duck, point, is noted on the location for this meetup, is at that rear, of the entrance driveway. We will meet at the duck shown in the photo. Park on left by the blue buildings, wine shop, towns covered deck. This walk will go from Buttonwood Park, along the Main Street, down to the Train Station, return up along main on opposite side, but divert off, to head along the canal tow path, where we then hit a bit of residential streets to round over to the Yardley art ducks along the river. We will then take Afton back up to Main to the POB. Afterward, perhaps an Italian Ice, bring cash if that is something you would want to do, they are open for the season for a bit longer.

A 24 hour Wawa, that has a bathroom, is on Main Street, diagonally across from the adjacent lot, next to the municipal one, so only a bit down from the municipal lot entrance.
