TYPE: Walk | PACE: Gentle/Conversational | TERRAIN: Dirt/Gravel Trails | DISTANCE: 3.3 miles |

Walk Description: October's full Hunter's Moon rises at 5:39 pm on Sunday the 25th. We'll meet just before moonrise - sunset happens a little later, at 6:07 pm - to hike the 3.3-mile loop around Davidson Mesa. If the group wants to go farther, we'll add the loop around Harper Lake.

Schedule and Planning: We will meet at 5:30 pm in front of the trail map at Davidson Mesa, on the west side of McCaslin Blvd. The hike will take about an hour, but we'll stop to take in the views along the way. Parking is also available in the Harper Lake lot on the east side of McCaslin Blvd. You can park there and walk through the underpass to our meeting place. There are restrooms on the Harper Lake side.

Walking Movement Leader: Darcy started volunteering with the Boulder Ramblers in 2015. She is the author of "The Best Urban Hikes: Boulder." You can reach Darcy at (720) 805-8293 or [email protected].

Trip Notes:
