As one cycle comes to a close and another begins, we are delighted to return to Switzer Canyon, the place where our very first nature bathing walk began.
Returning here feels especially meaningful as we celebrate two years of gathering, learning, listening, and deepening our relationships with the natural world, with ourselves, and with one another.
With the arrival of fall and the beginning of the rainy season, we find ourselves entering a time of transition and renewal. The changing seasons remind us that everything moves in cycles: of giving and receiving, resting and growing, letting go and beginning again.
We invite you to join us for a special anniversary gathering to honor this journey and the relationships that have been nurtured along the way.
Inspired by the sacredness of reciprocity, we will begin by arriving with gratitude, curiosity, and care, offering our presence and a simple gesture of thanks to the land.
Through a gentle nature bathing experience, we will slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the wisdom of our senses. Allowing the land to guide us, we will make space for stillness, silence, and the simple experience of being present.
We will then gather beneath the trees to continue our practice of pine needle basket weaving, an ancestral art rooted in patience, care, and relationship with the land. Working with fallen pine needles, we will explore simple weaving techniques, allowing each stitch to become an opportunity for presence, reflection, and connection.
There will be space to reflect on our two years together, acknowledge the people and places that have been part of this journey, share stories, and welcome the new cycle beginning.
Whether you have been walking with us from the beginning or are joining us for the first time, you are warmly welcome.
We look forward to returning, gathering, and weaving with you!
\\This gathering is offered in the spirit of reciprocity, with a suggested contribution of $10–$30, or whatever feels supportive and accessible for you. Materials will be provided.\
