Friday 28th August 2026 An Socach - 1069m An Riabhachan - 1129m For those who don't fancy an expensive ferry trip or a long walk along Loch Mullardoch, this is an alternative route to these two remote munros Please note this will be a fast paced walk due to time pressure The glen is accessed at 9am and it is approximately a 45 minute drive along the glen to the walk start point at Gleann Innis an Locheil power station (ref NH183381). The access gate is closed at 8pm which gives us more of less around 9 hours to complete the walk Ascent: 1300m, 21km Estimated time 8-9 hours Depart: 8am Cannich Dog friendly walk - no male dogs, sorry we have a nervous dog Organiser: Colin Semple/Laura Nava We plan to stay at the Cannich campsite. You can also stay at nearby hostels at Bearnock or Drumnadrochit. Note: Attendees at all club walks are reminded that they should abide by club’s code of conduct and safety guidelines.
