FREE SUNDAY PRE-LUNCH HIKE – Box Hill Autumn Challenge & Countryside Views !

⏰ Meet at 10:00 a.m. outside Box Hill & Westhumble Train Station for a sharp 10:15 a.m start!

Join us for a refreshing autumn hike at Box Hill, one of the gems of the North Downs. This circular route will cover up to 15 km through rolling hills, woodlands, and open countryside. Expect sweeping views, a few good climbs to get the heart rate up and give your time's worth, and the chance to enjoy one of the most iconic hiking spots in the South East.

🥾 What to Expect

Distance: approx. up to 15 km
Pace: medium, steady pace (around 3–3.5 mph) with breaks.
Finish time: expected around 2 p.m before lunch / drinks at the pub.
Autumn colours, beautiful countryside, and classic Box Hill climbs with upto 400m elevation.
Post-hike social: optional pub stop near the station for food/drinks.

🧰 What to Bring

Good hiking boots/shoes with grip (Box Hill can get muddy and slippery).
1–1.5 litres of water.
Packed snacks and lunch post-hike.
Waterproofs and layers — it’s November!
A positive and friendly spirit.

🚗 Parking

Limited spaces at Box Hill & Westhumble Station car park.
Burford Hotel car park nearby (check availability).
Some free spaces on the side road towards Stepping Stones Pub.
You may also be able to park at Stepping Stones Pub if you let them know you’ll return for a drink/lunch.
