Autumn Footsteps Around Pangbourne, 7 miles, leisurely

Join us for a lovely 7-mile autumn adventure exploring the beautiful countryside around Pangbourne, as we embrace the colours, sights and sounds of the season.

Starting from Pangbourne Station, we'll head towards Whitchurch-on-Thames, passing the colourful autumn hues of Stonycroft Plantations, where the woodland puts on its beautiful seasonal display.

Our route continues towards Cold Harbour, taking us past Great Oaks School and through Great Oaks Woods, where we can enjoy the crisp autumn air and hopefully plenty of golden leaves beneath our feet.

We'll then make our way towards Goring Heath, where we'll take a well-deserved refreshment stop at The Sun pub for a drink and a chance to recharge.

With our refreshments enjoyed, we'll set off again along the beautiful Chiltern Way, passing through Path Hill before heading down past the alpacas at Bozedown Farm – always a lovely sight!

We'll also find a suitable spot along the way to stop, relax and enjoy our packed lunches before continuing our autumnal adventure.

Finally, we'll complete our circular walk back to Pangbourne Station, hopefully with rosy cheeks, happy feet and plenty of autumn memories.
