34th Social with Good Intentions💚❤️💜

After the last successful larger monthly socialising in September, we had a break last month due to Halloween being on the last weekend in October.

Below is a rough guide for this evening, updates will be posted as Event Comments & in the new Event Chat throughout the evening (at least until midnight):

📍8.30 pm - Cosy Club (to start with)

📍10.30 pm - optionally move to Moonshine\, QoB or O'Neill's (for those who like to dance or listen to louder music (whilst sipping a drink)

📍11.55 pm onwards - maybe going to Firebug, some other bar, or have some fast food before heading home

We'll begin the night at the less noisy Cosy Club, to chat and get to know each other, before moving to other venues and possibly somewhere to dance (feel free to split into smaller groups going to different places).

We understand it may be daunting for someone not so experienced with Meetup - please join anyway (it's better than hiding at home in front of a TV or spending another night with your mobile on your sofa). We are inclusive; no criteria on age (although 18 to 99 is best), gender, race, or other characteristics/orientations. We aim is to create a positive and safe event.

All are welcome, drinking alcohol is not necessary (cranberry juice is cool too) 🤠. We are a very accepting, accommodating group 🙂💛.

Accessibility needs are welcomed. Feel free to send a private message to the host(s) regarding how we can help you join the event, or maybe to arrange a "Meet & Greet" beforehand.

When you arrive, just look out for a chatty group between the entrance and the bar, or identify Event Hosts present from our profile pictures.

Above all, let's be kind & considerate to each other, whilst spending a relaxing social evening together.

PS: We're giving this new "beta" Event Chat a go, to see how useful this is. Apart from Meetup Messages, it's apparently possible to link to Discord or WhatsApp (we'll trial that another time though).

PPS: Please be aware that this is a free event run by volunteers (Vicki Lester, the Group Organizer, even pays the Meetup business for the existence of this Group). Whilst we try to help as much as possible, we only facilitate a social setting (without any formal obligations).
