ALMADEN LAKE WALK/BOCCE BALL/GAMES POTLUCK

This event has many "layers." You can either walk, play bocce ball, play games around the picnic area near the bocce ball course, join us for the potluck and the games ...
YOU CAN JOIN US AT ANY TIME!

Almaden Lake is one of the best parks in San Jose to enjoy Nature. The park has a lake, two bocce ball courses as well as picnic areas overlooking the beautiful lake (see photos).
The trail around the lake is about a mile long and it is connected to The Alamitos Creek.

WHAT TO BRING: No desserts, please.
This is a potluck event, please bring an appetizer/finger food to share with others plus a drink to share.
There is a BBQ pit on site :)
EXAMPLES OF APPETIZERS/FINGER FOODS

WHERE TO MEET & PICNIC AREA:
We will meet by the bocce ball/bathroom area at 9:30 am if you are walking with us. Come around 11;30 am if you are coming for the bocce ball, the games, and the potluck, you can meet us at the Greystone Picnic Area located on the right side while facing the Bocce Ball course. I will place tablecloths on the tables.

TEMPTATIVE SCHEDULE:

9:30 am-11:00 am: Walk around the lake & Alamitos Creek (2-4 miles). For reference, one loop around the lake is about one mile (20-25 minutes walking),
11:30 am- 2:30 pm: Play Bocce Ball. I have two sets. You can come to play earlier but let me know.
11:30pm - 2:30 pm: Potluck + Play games (if you are not playing bocce ball) in the designated picnic area.

DESIGNATED PICNIC AREA: GREYSTONE PICNIC AREA
Greystone Picnic Area located on the right side while facing the Bocce Ball course. I will place tablecloths on the tables.

BOCCE BALL: Anytime between 11:30am-2:30 pm
We have three sets of bocce balls.

GAMES: 11:30 PM - 2:30 PM
Besides Bocce Ball, we will bring several "silly & easy" games we can play. I LOOOOOVE Pictionary so you can be sure we will bring our white board, markers, and Pictionary board to play!
