It's the most wonderful time of the year and we are travelling to the heart of Germany, in Munich as well as to Salzburg, the definition of a Christmas fairytale, in Austria.

Indicative itinerary :

Thursday, 17th December : Arrival at the hotel and going out for a local dinner in a traditional German restaurant in Munich's Altstadt (Old Town) at the historical heart of the city so we can get to know all participants. Be immersed in the unforgettable Christmas spirit in one of the largest Christmas markets in Germany and let your inner child rejoice! Warm up with Glühwein (mulled wine) and take home the collective mug as a unique souvenir!

We are making sure we are in Marienplatz at 21:00, the city's main square, to watch the famous Glockenspiel show at the clock in the tower of the New City Hall with life-sized mechanical figures, performing a show with Christmas carols and classical Bavarian music.

Friday, 18 December : We are enjoying the day by exploring and discovering the secrets and beauty of Munich admiring its architecture. Taking a stroll around with a tip based walking tour with a local tour guide as the city’s impressive buildings are best discovered on foot. We get to see the enormous Frauenkirche Gothic cathedral landmark of the city, the Altes Rathaus (Old Town Hall) and Neues Rathaus (New Town Hall), we sample local flavours in the famous Viktualienmarkt
food market, we are taking our time at a beer hall and its special atmosphere and not only.

Saturday 19th December : A day trip to photogenic Salzburg, Austria, Mozart's birth place and a well known city for its baroque architecture the rich musical history, the irresistible chocolate cakes, and fairy tale like old town, the cobbled streets, the castle, and numerous churches, welcoming us as in a movie like setting, all dressed up celebrating Christmas!

Sunday 20th December : Departure day, making the most of our time before the airport.
