Interest Check: All-Women Team for HackTN?

IT Girls is thinking about putting together an all-women team for this year's HackTN. Who's in?

RSVP here to raise your hand. This isn't a commitment to win or anything, we're just planning to spend a weekend building something fun with other women. A few of us I.T. Girls organizers will be on site with the team the whole time, so you won't be figuring it out alone. We may also pick up a few more ladies at the event itself to round out the roster.

What HackTN is: a two-day build sprint at Vanderbilt using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Challenge statements get revealed at the information session. Teams are 4–6 people. Open to 18+. Meals provided; bring a laptop. Prize pool is $2,000 — $1,000 / $750 / $250

Never done a Hackathon? It's easy, the team will be a mix of experience levels so we will all fill in skill gaps for each other. And if you're a former NSS student then you can think of it like a group project - it's truly almost exactly like that.

Looking for a job??? Oracle recruiters will be onsite talking to people so this is a good opportunity to get on their radar.
