Leipzig Art Day Trip — Galleries, Artist Studio & Museum Visit

Join Berlin Ladies Art & Culture Club for a full day of art, conversation, and discovery in Leipzig.

We’ll explore the galleries of the Leipziger Baumwollspinnerei, visit an artist’s studio, and discover selected highlights of the Museum der bildenden Künste — with time for lunch, conversation, and getting to know one another along the way.
Throughout the day, I’ll share art-historical context and stories connecting the places we visit, from Leipzig’s contemporary art scene to the artists who shaped its history.

🎨 Welcome & introduction
We’ll begin with introductions and an overview of Leipzig’s art scene, setting the context for our day together.
🖼 Gallery visits at the Leipziger Baumwollspinnerei
Explore a former cotton mill transformed into a centre for contemporary art. Our curated gallery walk will introduce different artistic voices and the story of the Leipzig School and New Leipzig School.
👩‍🎨 Artist studio visit
An opportunity to meet an artist in her working space, hear about her practice, and ask questions about the work and the process behind it.
🍽 Lunch & conversation
We’ll take a break to sit down together, exchange impressions, and enjoy the company of fellow art lovers.
🏛 Museum der bildenden Künste
We’ll explore selected highlights of the museum’s collection together, with art-historical context connecting our museum visit to the morning’s discoveries.
🚶 A little of Leipzig
Time permitting, we’ll take a short walk through the historic centre before returning to Berlin.

🚆 What is paid separately?
Train tickets, local transport, food, and drinks. Any applicable museum admission costs will be clarified before payment.
📋 When will I receive the final itinerary?
The exact timings, gallery stops, and artist studio arrangements for 7 November will be shared before payment.

Absolutely — many women do. We’ll begin with introductions, and there will be plenty of time to connect throughout the day.

Not at all. I’ll share context along the way, and questions and discussion are warmly welcomed.
