GENERATION X - The Generation that Changed the World" is a six part mini series by National Geographic.
This is a recurring event over the course of six months (July - December 2026) and we'll gather on either the second or third Saturday of each month to watch one 1-hr episode and then hit a local bar/pub afterward to discuss it.
4:00 - 5:00 Documentary (at Gen X Junction Clubhouse)
5:00 - 6:00 Drinkumentary (at Wild Provisions by 4 Noses)
We'll treat each episode as a separate event, so please feel free to sign up even if you didn't see Parts 1, 2 or 3, or aren't sure you can attend in the future. Please keep your RSVP up to date as we have a small space and therefore have to limit the number of attendees.

"Family, Re-imagined" is the fifth of six hours in GENERATION X, a series exploring the cultural forces that shaped the generation born between 1961 and 1981. This episode examines how Generation X has redefined the institution of the family in an era of social upheaval, culminating in the landmark 2015 Supreme Court ruling granting marriage rights to same-sex couples.
Part 6 - The Politics of X (December 2026)
"The Politics of X" is the last of six hours in GENERATION X, a series exploring the cultural forces that shaped the generation born between 1961 and 1981. The final episode examines how Generation X has evolved politically over the course of several decades, particularly with regard to race and women's rights. The story concludes with the epic presidential election of 2008, when Gen X political rivals Barack Obama and Sarah Palin take center stage - and change the course of history.
