Tog Science Fiction Bookclub

For our next Tog Science Fiction Book Club, we’ll be reading The Tusks of Extinction by Ray Nayler. This short, thought-provoking science fiction novel explores extinction, conservation, memory, and the possibility of bringing lost species back into the world. It should give us plenty to discuss, from the ethics of de-extinction to humanity’s relationship with nature and technology. We’ll be meeting in person at Tog Hackerspace on Tuesday, 29th September at 7:30pm. Whether you’ve read the whole book, only just started, or simply want to come along and listen, you’re very welcome. New people are always welcome at the book club.
