San Diego Bayside and Beyond 9

Back by popular demand-- Thats right 9---Join me for a tour around Downtown San Diego, the Bayside, the Countryside, Silver Strand, Coronado Island, and the Bay. Even a Ferry Ride across the Bay. A casual ride with stops for coffee,art,beverages,food and plenty of scenery. This year we will climb up to Point Loma -- and maybe try Sunset Cliffs or take a quick spin around Mission Bay .

As always, this event is subject to change and or cancelation!

The ride starts from the Old Town Transit center. Amtrak, San Diego Trolly, Coaster, Lite rail services are located here.

This year we are going back to Sweetwater Regional Park. I reserved site 12. As of 9/7/26 there were sites open on both sides . Grab a partner and Please reserve a campsite at Sweetwater Regional Park. (San Diego County Parks Website.) 8 people and two tents per campsite. This rule may be loosely enforced. . Approx. 35-45 miles on Sat and 30 miles Sunday. More details to come as the ride comes together.

We will stop for a food stop at a Vons before the campground. And go to a Starbucks on Sunday morning. So, plan your food as needed. On Sunday will stop for lunch near the Ferry crossing or wherever we decide at a whim.

Start and end times may change due to train schedules.

Some may want to camp Friday at San Elijo State Beach and ride or
take the coaster to the Old Town Station.
