This one of my favorite Hikes. Historical Cattus Island provides a unique habitat of salt marshes & woodland. We will hike approximately 6-7 miles covering ALL of the trails in the Park enjoying winter in the salt marsh. Also there are several bail out points to make hike shorter if needed. Ideal beginners hike. The diverse natural setting is enjoyed by everyone. Located off Fischer Blvd in Toms River. Porta Jon in parking lot. Rest rooms in Environmental Center open at 10am. PLEASE NOTE there is a waitlist for this hike. If you think you can't make the hike, PLEASE let me know AT LEAST 24 HOURS PRIOR to start time. LAST MINUTE cancellations are DISREPECTFUL to your fellow members on the WAITLIST, Thank you. Any concerns or questions please text or call Me at 732-330-6594
Dress for the Weather. Bring water & snack. Also PLEASE arrive 10-15 minutes before start Time,
