Here is more info about Constantino’s:
Costantino's Venda Bar & Ristorante is renowned throughout Providence and beyond for its authentic Italian cuisine, award-winning wine list, and exceptional service.
We are located in the heart of Federal Hill - the Little Italy of our capital city, where our family has been making pasta in the Old World tradition for over 70 years. We are dedicated to using quality ingredients, most of which are available across the DePasquale Plaza, and at our cafe, Venda Ravioli, where we market our authentic Italian food and other specialty products. Join us for dinner year-round, and on the patio during the summer season.
THE CHEF
Chef Anthony Chiero began his culinary career at a Neapolitan bakery in his hometown on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. As a teen, Chef Chiero was integrated into Neapolitan culinary culture learning old-world style soups, sauces, pizzas, bread, and pastries.
Motivated by his newfound passion, Chef Chiero enrolled at Johnson and Wales University, where he graduated with high honors. Shortly after graduation, Chef Chiero came across Costantino’s Venda Ravioli, where he became sous chef to Chef Salvatore Cefaliello, also trained in the Neapolitan tradition. After seven years of cooking with and learning from Chef Sal, Chef Chiero became the Executive Chef at Costantino’s Ristorante. With a focus on quality ingredients, seasonality and tradition, Chef Chiero continues to share what he has learned with our many guests.
