📅 Wednesday, November 11, 2026
⏰ 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM
📍 Meeting Point: Zollstraße, near Rathausplatz, Düsseldorf
🏁 Ending Point: Füchschen, Ratinger Straße 28
On November 11, Düsseldorf officially kicks off its Carnival season, and we'll be out on the streets to photograph the celebrations!
We'll begin near Rathausplatz to capture the traditional Hoppeditz awakening at 11:11 AM, along with the colorful costumes, Carnival groups, and crowds gathering in the Altstadt.
From there, we'll make our way through Bolkerstraße, where the festivities continue, before heading toward Ratinger Straße and the Carnival celebrations at Füchschen.
This will be a relaxed three-hour street photography walk, focusing on candid moments, costumes, characters, and the atmosphere of Düsseldorf's Carnival opening.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of camera or experience level, with focus on Photography.
Come ready to walk, photograph, and enjoy the start of Carnival season!
