Coffee and Books at a South Bay Cafe

✨ What we do:

Gather at a new coffee shop each session ☕
Spend a few minutes catching up
Settle into silent reading for about an hour (everyone brings their own book — no pressure to read the same thing!)
End with relaxed conversation about books, life, and anything else

🌱 Our goal: to revive the dying habit of reading, and give ourselves a break from our phones. For at least 90 minutes, it’s just us, our books, and the company of fellow readers.

👥 We’re about 40 members on our primary whatsapp group (predominantly Indian origin), but usually 8-10 of us join each session. There’s a good mix of guys and gals, with slightly more women in the group.

If you’ve been meaning to read more, or just want a cozy, phone-free Sunday ritual — come join us! Once you join us for the first time, we will add you to our primary group on whatsapp.
