RWAus – Perth Brunch + Write

NOTE: THIS EVENT RUNS FROM 11 AM TO 3 PM PERTH TIME. Please order your food and drink on arrival, then head upstairs to the function room. Are you a romance writer looking for some dedicated writing time in a cosy, supportive space? Join us for our monthly BRUNCH + WRITE at Halo Espresso in South Perth, where words and coffee flow in equal measure! WHAT'S A WRITE-IN? A write-in is simply a chance to gather with fellow writers, settle in with your laptop or notebook, and focus on your writing projects. Whether you’re drafting swoony meet-cutes, editing that all-is-lost moment, or brainstorming your next happy-ever-after, this is your time to write. WHAT TO EXPECT: - A relaxed\, welcoming vibe (no pressure\, just pages!) - Friendly romance writers who “get it” - A social hour to start with\, to chat and connect\, eat and drink - A block of time to focus on writing WHO'S IT FOR? While our sessions are hosted by the Romance Writers of Australia, all writers—new or experienced—of romance or romantic elements are welcome. Whether you’re writing short stories, novellas, or novels, come along and write in good company. WHAT TO BRING: Your laptop, notebook, headphones (if that's your vibe) or whatever else you need to write productively. Let’s fill the café with creativity, community, and romance-writing magic. NOTE: While the function room is free to hire, there is a minimum spend for the privilege of using it, so please be prepared to spend roughly $25, give or take, on brunch.
