The session will cover:

Thanos: The metrics source of truth
Tempo: Baby steps into the world of tracing
Loki: A bittersweet story
GitSync: Dashboards as code, by popular demand
Graphia: FDJ UNITED’s approach to enabling Grafana MCP for AI observability
On-premises observability: Custom tenant management and RBAC

About the Speakers

Rodrigo works in FDJ UNITED’s Online Betting and Casino Business Unit and has more than 20 years of experience in observability. He is currently the SRE Technical Lead for the Infrastructure department, where he builds highly available observability systems and promotes best practices for collecting, processing and visualising data across the organisation. Rodrigo is also a long-time advocate of open-source technologies.

Barun is a Site Reliability Engineer at FDJ UNITED with more than 14 years of experience across capacity engineering, performance engineering and SRE. He is passionate about building scalable and performant solutions using open-source technologies and exploring creative ways to make the most of existing tools and features.
Outside work, Barun is a hobby painter, football fanatic and space enthusiast who tracks solar activity, auroras and satellite passes from his home lab—while keeping up with his lively three-year-old.

2️⃣ One Front Door for All Your Telemetry

Grafana Alloy, OpenTelemetry, and an open-source stack.
Correlated metrics, logs & traces. 100% open source.

👾 Israel Ochoa — About Me
"16 years of watching systems burn. I have dashboards for that." 🔥
Hey, I'm Israel — Senior Observability Architect at Grafana Labs , based in Stockholm, Sweden 🇸🇪.
Yes, I'm Mexican 🌮. Yes, I live in Sweden. No, I don't regret it. (The meatballs are surprisingly good with habanero salsa.)
My Grafana teammates call me the "Warden of the North" 🏰 — I work from Stockholm, so geographically they're not wrong.
I've embraced it fully. There's a throne. It has a Grafana dashboard. 📊
I genuinely believe good dashboards save lives, better alerts and incident management are the difference between "we caught it before users noticed" and "we found out from X/Reddit", runbooks are love letters to your future self and customer service is everything... you're a customer yourself.
