Whether you are picking up a paintbrush for the first time or have been painting for years, this is a low-pressure space to create art and meet some new people in the city. We will be spending the afternoon together working on our own projects, sharing tips, and simply enjoying the process of being creative in good company. You do not need to be a professional to join us; the goal is really just to practice our skills and get to know one another while we work.
Please bring your own preferred supplies, whatever those happen to be, and be ready for a relaxed afternoon of conversation and quiet creativity. We are meeting at a neighborhood spot that is conducive to sketching and painting, and we will make sure to save some time at the end to look at what everyone has been working on. If you have been looking for a reason to get back into your art practice or are hoping to connect with a few other local artists, we would love to have you join us.
If you think you can make it, please take a moment to click the RSVP button so we can get an accurate headcount for the space.
