The Measure by Nikki Erlick - 2 Movement Brewing

Hi all. This next book seems really cool. I forgot to note who suggested it, so hopefully they show up. The Measure by Nikki Erlick follows a global phenomenon where everyone over 22 receives a box containing a string that reveals the exact length of their life. The narrative intertwines the stories of eight people as society quickly divides into "long-stringers" and "short-stringers," exploring how humanity grapples with fate, prejudice, and what it truly means to live. Would you open your box? Scary!

This meeting is back to our winter location, Movement Brewing. Just 10 minutes from the park location. We have a private room, a food truck, and several styles of adult drinks. It's just three exits from Folsom directly off of Sunrise Blvd. Give it a try for a Tuesday meeting during the dark and wet winter.

In November, besides a new book, we will also be having the annual catch-all meeting where we can discuss any book read this year. In case you missed a meeting and want to vent. It's a fun fast paced night. And in December we will have our holiday party. A ton of good stuff these next few months. Hang on for the ride!
